Christie Pashby is a Canadian freelance writer and Spanish-English translator.
She lives between her two homes in Patagonia, Argentina and in the Rocky Mountains of Canada. For more than ten years, she has been writing guidebooks for Frommer's, as well as working as a freelance journalist publishing a variety of articles on subjects ranging from kitesurfing to wine tasting. As a certified translator, she has worked professionally on projects including wine industry websites and full-length feature film scripts. Her involvement in the television and film production industry ranges from script translating to on-air appearances. She has been featured on BBC Radio, the Guardian, the Toronto Star and on NBC television.
